Juan Hernandez Hauser Model
The Juan Hernandez Hauser model, crafted personally by Alberto Hernandez, is inspired by Segovia’s iconic 1937 Hauser. This guitar is built with the original specifications and bracing, showcasing meticulous attention to detail. Constructed from premium woods and materials, the top is perfectly quarter-sawn with beautiful, tight grain, reflecting exceptional craftsmanship.
The sound is truly remarkable: warm, evocative, and richly colorful, with nuanced tonal qualities. The basses are harmonically rich, while the trebles are full-bodied and resonant. The guitar offers perfect balance and separation, delivering a refined tonal palette. Its power and projection are impressive, capable of filling any concert hall with ease. Additionally, the guitar is highly comfortable and easy to play, making it an excellent choice for performers seeking both quality and playability.
About Juan Hernandez Guitars
Juan Hernandez Guitars was founded by Juan Hernandez Iranzo. Born in 1948, Juan began his journey as a luthier by apprenticing at the Francisco Esteve workshop at the age of 15. Over the years, he became a certified guitar maker and eventually rose to the position of production manager. In 2001, he established his own workshop under the Esteve banner, crafting a distinctive line of handcrafted classical and flamenco guitars.
Continuing his father’s legacy, Alberto Hernandez Monfort (b. 1979) began his apprenticeship at Esteve in 1994. After quickly achieving certification, Alberto joined his father’s workshop. Following Juan Hernandez’s retirement, Alberto became the production manager at Esteve and assumed the role of head luthier at Juan Hernandez Guitars. Today, he personally crafts the signature models that proudly bear the family name.
