Juan Hernandez Hauser Model

The Juan Hernandez Hauser model, personally crafted by Alberto Hernandez, is inspired by Segovia’s iconic 1937 Hauser. Built to the original specifications and bracing, this guitar reflects the same meticulous attention to detail as its legendary predecessor. Constructed from premium woods and materials, the top is perfectly quarter-sawn with a tight, beautiful grain, showcasing exceptional craftsmanship.

The sound is nothing short of extraordinary: warm, evocative, and richly colorful, with a nuanced tonal character. The basses are harmonically rich, and the trebles are full-bodied and resonant. The guitar offers impeccable balance and separation, ensuring no frequency overpowers another. Its power and projection make it suitable for even the largest concert halls, while its playability is both comfortable and effortless, ideal for performers at any level.

About Juan Hernandez Guitars

Juan Hernandez Guitars was founded by Juan Hernandez Iranzo. Born in 1948, Juan began his career at the age of 15 as an apprentice at the Francisco Esteve workshop. Over time, he earned his certification as a guitar maker and eventually became production manager. In 2001, he established his own workshop under the Esteve banner, where he began crafting a unique line of handcrafted classical and flamenco guitars.

Following in his father’s footsteps, Alberto Hernandez Monfort (b. 1979) began his apprenticeship at Esteve in 1994. After achieving certification, Alberto joined his father’s workshop and continued the family tradition. When Juan Hernandez retired, Alberto became the production manager at Esteve and the head luthier of Juan Hernandez Guitars. Today, Alberto personally crafts the signature models that bear the family name, upholding a legacy of excellence and artistry.
