Frank-Peter Dietrich is a German luthier, from a family that has been making guitars since 1904, and that had been building flutes and violins for generations  Besides building concert classical and flamenco guitars, he makes variety of historical instruments: lutes, and bench copies of baroque and romantic guitars. His instruments won a gold metal at exhibitions in Leipzig in 1986, and the Bavarian State Prize in 1991, and are played by a growing group of professional guitarists in Europe. The guitar itself sports nice features such as a raised fingerboard.
