This 10-string master concert (Narcisso Yepes) model, comes with the original Ramirez hard case and bears the following label: José Ramirez, Conception Jeronima #2, Madrid, 1974, clase 1a, Serial No: 8178 (see photo). It is top stamped inside near the neck #1, which stands for the luthier Miguel Malo (according to the information provided by the tienda Ramirez). It has a red cedar top with 2 professionally repaired hairline cracks, now nearly invisible, which started near the upper rim and running toward the soundhole (one on each side), but that stopped long before the soundhole or rosette. The back and sides are made of absolutely breathtaking Indian rosewood with a stunning and rich chocolate color; there was a single now nearly invisible crack in the back wood professionally repaired and cleated inside, but no check marks, very solid neck with no cracks, clean ebony fingerboard with frets recently dressed and de-burred. The scale is 664 mm, and the nut width at the neck is 85 mm. The action is close to 3 mm on the 1st string at the 12th fret and close to 4mm for the 6th string at the 12th fret, which makes it comfortable to play. The polish still has the appearance of a new guitar with no visible scratches, very very few signs of wear. The sound is well-balanced, clear and strong, and the 4 extra strings provides it with a warm and rich resonance that is really enthralling.
