The Spanish luthier José Romero is another of the fine craftsmen who learned their trade in the workshop of José Ramirez, but is now concentrating on making his mark in the world of flamenco guitars. This is impeccably crafted, handmade guitar uses fine woods of the highest quality. This guitar has a absolutely wonderful flamenco timber, great dynamic range, and is perfectly set up for flamenco.

Jose Romero made this guitar for the present owner, who is a professional flamenco player in Madrid, and is only selling it now because he is getting ready to retire soon. He writes: “The guitar is practically new because it has only been played by me in theaters, it has a spectacular sound. When I bought it, Jose Romero had only recently opened his own shop, and didn’t have a lot of wood of his own, so he purchased some wood for the top from Arcangel Fernande that had already been age cured for 20 years, so I was lucky enough to get a spectacular German spruce top.”
