The Spanish luthier Casimiro Lozano Carrillo was born in 1954 in Casasimarro. Beginning in 1969 he apprenticed in the workshop Vicente Carrillo that was run by his widow Gabriela Casas, and in 1992 opened his own workshop. Casimiro Lozano's concert classical guitars from this period took their shape and dimensions of Fleta guitars. Their attack is immediate, with bright, clear sound, and unusually long sustain. They are characterized by superb balance, separation, and volume. We originally sold this guitar to its current owner in 2004, and as may be readily seen in the photos he has keep it in immaculate condition. It was a great guitar then, and is even a greater bargain now.
