Gerundino Fernández, Hijo, is the son of the legendary luthier Gerundino Fernández (1931–2006), whose flamenco guitars were cherished by iconic musicians such as Paco de Lucía, Paco Peña, Juan Martín, Tomatito, and Eric Clapton. Born in 1974 in Almería, Gerundino Hijo began assisting his father in guitar making from a young age, inheriting his father's skills and passion for the craft.

Gerundino Hijo’s guitars retain the signature raspy growl, powerful volume, well-balanced intonation, and "gutsy" percussive sound that made his father’s instruments so sought after. The expertly handcrafted flamenco guitars feature a low-action setup that is impeccably designed, offering the same subtle touch and responsiveness as his late father’s work, making them a true joy to play.

Misael Barraza-Diaz, who recorded with this guitar, was deeply impressed by its quality, further affirming its exceptional craftsmanship and sound.
