This Paulino Bernabe PB Imperial concert classical guitar is one of Bernabe's top-tier models. He builds this model personally in his home workshop. The PB Imperial exemplifies exceptional craftsmanship and tonal excellence. It is made of carefully selected premium woods, for the top he has chosen a tight-grained Canadian cedar; and for the back and sides an exquisite Madagascar rosewood. In the PB Imperial and PB Royal models, Bernabe uses a special X-braced system, ensuring rich, resonant sound with superb clarity and projection. This model is also fitted with top-notch high precision Alessi tuners, allowing smooth and precise tuning. Paulino’s attention to detail is evident in its intricate rosette, elegant purfling, and flawless French-polished finish. The neck is crafted for comfort and playability, while the ebony fingerboard offers smooth, responsive action. Designed for professional musicians, the PB Imperial delivers a balanced tonal palette suitable for a wide range of classical repertoire.

Paulino Bernabé Roman is a world-class luthier, as was his father, Paulino Bernabé Almendariz (1932-2007). Paulino practically grew up within his father's workshop. In the early 1980s, he officially joined his father's shop, and literally shared the same workbench for nearly three decades. Paulino not only mastered the art of guitar craftsmanship but in pursuit of excellence, is constantly experimenting and pushing the bondaries of construction techniques and sound qualities.
