The PB models are ones Paulino makes personally. This PB model is his Torres copy, which is based on a 1864 Torres “La Suprema” in his personal collection. Made with a German spruce top that has been aged for over 30 years, and with stunning bird-eye maple for the back and sides, this guitar is a true work of art. Being a bench copy, its sound is everything one might expect from a master luthier of Bernabe's calibre.· Although the style of this copy is true to the original generally, it isn't stuck in the 19th century, but incorporates some nice touches, such as Bernabe's new bridge that looks the same,  but maintains an optimal string angle over the saddle. As well, Bernabe uses a synthetic material for the saddle and nut which allows the strings to smoothly slip over them without binding or the slightest jump. Similarly uses a modern thin neck profile with its fine frets, making this guitar very easy and comfortable to play. The sound is spectacular, which besides offering an authentic Torres sound characterized by trebles that truly sing, lovely rich basses, and an outstanding mid-range, offers the big, full bodied, powerful sound for which Bernabe guitars are famous.
