Made in the USA, “Montanza Classical Guitars seeks the best sound possible using the best woods on earth” and builds performance level classical guitars suitable for the concert hall or recording studio. This guitar, their Spanish Rose model, incorporates much of the design parameters of Segovia's famous 1937 Hauser. They use only the finest, master grade woods. Their building process focuses on the minor details that factory-built guitars often neglect.  For instance, their internal bracing system is pitch modified for each guitar individually, using a chromatic tuner before final assembly, thus optimizing the soundboard’s resonance when played. As Montanza puts sound quality first, to be affordable they keep decorative non-essentials to a minimum. For this guitar they have chosen Italian Alpine spruce, which is perfectly quarter-sawn, and exhibits medullary rays throughout. The back and sides are likewise made of true Brazilian rosewood that offers offer a very rich color pallet with exceptional sustain. This guitar is in near mint condition. However, it has been taken around for several performances and shows very minor wear. French polish in good condition with no scratches, nail marks or string burns.
