Jesus Bellido is the son of Manuel Bellido, and a fine luthier in his own right.  Unlike most makers, Jesus has a milling saw, and processes the wood for his guitars himself, a fact that allows him to offer a 1a quality guitar at a reasonable price. This guitar is his 1a Model Torres Concert Classical. The footprint (plantilla) is somewhat smaller than his standard 1a, but what this guitar possesses in abundance is an enchanting, Spanish tone and character. This is an instrument of great power, sustain, and presence. Its trebles and basses are nicesly balanced, and the separation is outstanding.The trebles sing even in the highest register. They are sweet, full-bodied, and cyrstaline. The are matched with basses that are solid, rich, and have complex overtones. The guitar offers the player a rich palette of colors. It is very responsive, perfectly set-up, and very comfortable and easy to play.
