I discovered Rafael Romero Barroso on a trip to Spain in 2005. He was born in 1963 in the province of Cadiz, and was a professional flamenco guitarists before he found his true vocation as a guitar maker. As a luthier,  Rafael  brings the sensibilities of a professional guitarists to his craft.  The Andalucia model is an  handmade classical guitar made for exclusively for Zavaleta's by Rafael using made with the highest quality materials. It is beautifully crafted, and offers a gorgeous concert quality sound. It simply sings. We originally sold this guitar in 2005, and are happy to present it again. Cosmetically this guitar looks new: It was recently refretted and refinished by German Vasquez Rubio. The saddle has enough bone above the bridge to adjust the action a bit lower if need be. It is set up well, so it is a joy to play.
