This is a very faithful copy of a Hernandez y Aguado guitar built by one of Spain's most respected luthiers, who has been building guitars since 1947. This is number 926. Interestingly, Marcelino comes to this model honestly, he made guitars for Hernandez y Aguado for a time between 1971 and 1975. This guitar has Indian rosewood back and sides and a German spruce top, aged more than 30 years. As Marcelino is in his 70s, he is building fewer guitars, only 5 or 6 per year.
