Augustine Caro Riaño was active in Granada in the first quarter of the 19th century. He was a watchmaker by profession, but built guitars in his spare time. Only four other guitars by this maker are know to have survived from 1803, 1818, 1820, and 1829.  This guitar is admittedly in poor condition, having suffered from poor done repairs. A competent luthier could restore this guitar fairly easily, and this rare instrument would make a wonderful addition to any collection. NOTE: This guitar is in Spain.
