This José Ruiz Pedregosa is made with coral wood (a deep red African hardwood) back and sides which produces a sound brighter than cypress, but also has the hardness and weight to give it the power one expects from a flamenca negra. I have compared José Ruiz Pedregosa's flamenco guitars head to head with that of flamenco Gerundino Fernandez and found that I liked that of Jose Ruiz Pedregosa more.
