Incipient grain check in lacquer immediately adjacent to bass side of fret board but does not appear to penetrate through the wood. Gustavo Vasquez Rubio said to leave it alone. Purchased by owner in Spain from private party two years ago (in that hot-bed of flamenco, Guipuzcoa, in the Basque provinces!) He reports: Excellent, earthy flamenco sound.
