We are proud to offer this handmade instrument by the Spanish luthier Angel Benito Aguado. Inspired by the early Madrid school of guitar building, this model named after Tarraga's daughter, uses the low bridge of the Madrid school, and a traditional Madrid style bracing. It is the result of careful experiments with proportions and weight. Aside from its exquisite workmanship, this classical guitars possess a rich, refined tone, and is wonderfully playable. It is a true concert guitar instrument: powerful guitar with great depth of tone, wonderful, deep, rich resonant basses that are nicely balanced against full rounded trebles. It sings even in the highest registers. This is an exceptional instrument. It should be noted that the spruce top on this model is of the same highest grade quality as Angel's Espanoleta model: primera especial, lending this instrument the same cystaline clarity of tone as his more expensive model. |
