We know flamenco guitars and carry carefully selected inventory of handmade flamenco instruments built by individual Spanish luthiers. Because we are a guitar dealer not a retail store, our guitars are not those left after thousands of buyers have looked at them. We have no pound puppies. 

SPECIAL ORDERS: If you do not see what you are looking for we have relationships with over 40 luthiers in Spain, and can have any of them make you a guitar guitar. For our overseas clients, while you are welcome to buy from our U.S. inventory, we can offer you substantial saving by doing a special order and shipping directly from Spain.

PURCHASE POLICY: Guitars shipped pre-paid on 48 hr. approval, 30 day exchange. Arizona residents are subject to state sales taxes. Don't hesitate to contact us with any questions about the classical guitars for sale.

The Hermanos Sanchis Lopez, David and German, are the forth generation of luthiers in the Sanchis family in Valencia. Their great grandfather, Ricardo Sanchis Nacher (1881-1960) founded the firm in 1915, and had a close relationship with Domingo Esteso among others.

Manuel Adalid (b. 1951) is the head luthier at Esteve, and a second generation guitar maker. He is widely respected in Spain as among the most experimental and innovative guitar makers in Spain. Although the Esteve makes production guitars, Manuel Adalid maintains his own workshop within Esteve, where he carries on experiments and personally makes the guitars that he sells under his own name.

Aaron Garcia Ruiz is a luthier in Granada. He is also musicologist and professor at the University of Granada. Aaron apprenticed with Manuel Fernandez Fernandez, working with this master luthier until his death in 1997, he then continued his training with Manuel's son, Jose Manuel Fernandez Enriquez.

Eduardo Duran Ferrer is a forth generation Luthier in Granada. Born in 1965, he was trained by his father, Antonio Duran, and by his grandfather Eduardo Ferrer. This guitar is Eduardo 1a especial, and has everything that a professional player demands in a fine flamenco guitar: power, responsiveness, a great rasp, depth of tone, singing trebles, profound basses, and playability.

2012 Vicente Carrillo / Juan Miguel Gonzalez, 1a Chanca Tomatito Model Flamenca Negra

The Tomatito Chanca Model Flamenca Negra is the product of an on-going collaboration between two of Spain's leading luthiers, Juan Miguel González and Vicente Carrillo, and one of Spain's foremost flamenco guitarists, José Fernández Torres ‘Tomatito.'  Each man brings his depth of personal experience to this model.   Each guitar is signed by the makers, as well as by ‘Tomatito,' and each has been personally inspected and approved Tomatito as meeting his high standards for sound and playablity.

This José Ruiz Pedregosa is made with coral wood (a deep red African hardwood) back and sides which produces a sound brighter than cypress, but also has the hardness and weight to give it the power one expects from a flamenca negra.

The Spanish luthier José Romero is another of the fine craftsmen who learned their trade in the workshop of José Ramirez, but is now concentrating on making his mark in the world of flamenco guitars.  This is  impeccably crafted, handmade guitar uses fine woods of the highest quality.

2007 Felix Manzanero, 1a Concert Flamenca Negra Guitar

Back & Sides: Special Indian Rosewood

All the woods employed in building this guitar have been aged at least 30 years. The German spruce used for the top is outstanding, and Indian rosewood is superb. Felix Manzanero is one of the handful of outstanding luthiers to come out of the Ramirez workshop in the 1960s (such as Bernabe, Contreras, and Mario Tezanos), and is widely considered among finest flamenco guitar makers in Spain.
